Pool Vacuums
A pertinent query of all Swimming Pool owners is: How often do I need to use pool vacuums to keep my pool free of dirt and germs? Your answer is, as frequently as possible.
Although automated swimming pool vacuums are gaining popularity, their high prices discourage many from purchasing them. However, robotic vacuums are the easiest and most convenient way of ensuring a hygienic pool. So, if you purchase an automatic vacuum cleaner, make sure that you use it correctly so as to ensure its long life. A good vacuum cleaning once a month should suffice. However, one must not delay beyond a month because only a clean pool can ensure good health for your family and friends.
Pool Vacuums: How to Use Them
Here are some tips for using automated pool vacuums:
* The first step is to ensure that you have an electrical socket where you can plug your Robotic Pool Cleaner. Automatic vacuums have a self-contained filtration system that traps dirt in an internal filter/s.
* Plug the device in and switch it on. Most of them take two to three hours for intensive cleaning. Check for variations in Pool Chemicals and make adjustments if required.
* Read the user manual provided with the automatic vacuum carefully, to understand the procedure of cleaning the filtration system. The automatic pool cleaners can be cleaned quite conveniently, but reading the manual and cleaning them at regular intervals will guarantee a longer life.
Pool Vacuums: How to Purchase?
Automatic pool vacuums must be purchased after much deliberation, since they are very expensive. Pool cleaners differ according to pool sizes, so make sure that you purchase the right kind of cleaner for your needs. A quality robotic pool cleaner designed to clean the entire pool floor as well as walls will have an internal self-monitoring system to ensure complete coverage.
While purchasing vacuums, ensure that all parts of the cleaner are covered under warranty (only the wearable parts come without warranty). The low-cost maintenance of these automatic vacuums balances out the expenses incurred on their purchase.

Effective cleaning a swimming pool from leafs?
I know it's a luxury problem, but my Swimming Pools got trashed with charub and olive leafs. It's 10 foot deep (3,5 mtr) and the 'vacuum' cleaner for the pool gets blocked all the time by it. If I try cleaning by net, the net scoops over them. It's a horrible job.
Does anybody have experience of how to clean a pool effectively from leafs?
Let the water out first!
