When filling a brand new oval Above Ground Pool for the first time is there some air behind the liner!?
We filled the pool a little less than half way and there seems to be air behind the liner at both ends of the pool! My husband seems to think it will be okay and that the water will push it out as it fills! It is an overlap liner and I'm concerned that it will tug the liner over more and in a few spots there isn't alot left to tug on! One of the spots in particular is barely overlapped on the rim of the pool!
Relined an oval pool by myself (dumb).
If this is a new pool call them back & have them adjust the liner.
Relined it because settling of the pool supports was causing problems.
Once I straightened out the pool I re-leveled the sand base & banked it up against the sides.
Spent a lot of time getting the bottom seam to follow the oval shape of the pool to avoid wrinkles.
Directions were clear about maintaining an even overlap
There was some air between the pool walls & liner , but that did get pushed out when pool was filled.
Best part was tearing it down a few years ago.
